for the piece that I am most inspired by and enjoy the most, I choose this piece by Francisco de Goya. I really like the unfinished look of the piece . Even though it is "unfinished" it still feels complete. The information told me that by doing it in this style he was trying to show almost his attention to detail in certain spots and then move onto the next piece.
for the images that I really didn't like, it would have to be this piece. When I saw this piece I just really didn't like it. I thought the proportions were wired and the facial expressions really bothered me. I felt like it can't even be taken as cartoony. This piece was just very unsettling to me.
When I first saw this piece I honestly thought this guy was wearing a space suit and had knives in him. I then had walked past it without thinking about it. Then when I was walking through again I read the plaque thing and was really interested. I read that this was commemorating his accomplishments as an African American pilot. I thought that was really interesting and I'm glad I went back to go look at it
